This is what you see when you step in her room.
This is looking back towards the hall. Now let's look at the details.
One more look at the view from the door.

Beautiful bedroom! Goes with the rest of the house. Comfortable and welcoming. We don't have a tv in our bedroom either, Kim. Much to hubby's dismay. LOL! blessings ~tanna
Such a pretty room to rest, relax and sleep in! I love the little chest and her footstools!
Very pretty and calming, Kim. I love the canopy and her window treatments. We have a television in our bedroom and I'm not sure it is such a good idea. I went from not being able to fall asleep with it on {if hubby was watching the end of something before we went to bed} to only being able to fall asleep with it on. I think we need to reverse that when we move!
Gorgeous masterbedroom retreat. Looks like she made some changes from the RMS days. All wonderful. What a flair for decorating you girls have!
Lovely room. You and your sister both have such great taste!
I’ve just stumbled upon your lovely blog. I look forward to popping by again for some more inspiration! I'm just new into blogging this year & have put together a daily blog on design, fashion, food, travel and anything pretty.

Kim, your sister's home is just beautiful... love it. thanks for sharing
Beautiful room. The bed looks great.
Regards from Sweden
Thanks Kim! I've been trying to figure out how to make my tv look less imposing on our dresser, and I love they way your sis has kind of softened the way hers looks with the books on each side. My bedroom has me stumped for sure and I think I will start with her idea. Now if I can just convince my hubby to let me paint our dresser black!!!!
Pretty room! I especially like the painted chest to the left of the bed. In 42 years of marriage, we have never had a TV in the master. Don't think we'll add one. Linda
What a wonderful master bedroom. I love the gathered over time look your sister has created...
Hugs,
Penny
Your sister has a beautiful home. I love the master. So well put together. Is that a white throw or matlesse at the foot of the bed? It looks gorgeous with the scalloped edge. Fondly, Susie
Very pretty indeed.. I love her large chest..
What a gorgeous, serene room! I love your sister's whole house! You two are both so talented!
What a relaxing retreat she has created. I love the little foot stools, they add a finishing touch.

That is a nice sized bedroom, and she has it set up so nice. No tv in our bedroom either...hubs rules.
Love that little leopard footstool.
Lovely, just lovely!
Definitely a beautiful master bedroom! I love a all the details in the room.
Oh so pretty! It's decorated so beautifully.
I have the same comforter & (I think) the same matelasse at the foot of the bed!
Kim, her bedroom is just stunning. I love the colors and her accessories are all so pretty. She has a great sense of style and it shows in all of her home. Beautiful. Hugs, Marty
I simply love the way she has displayed her books around the TV - Great idea that I know I will copy! Love the chair and both footstools. And yes, She needs to start a blog, she is wonderful designer!
Kim, it appears that good style sense definitely runs in y'all's family! Your sister's home is just beautiful. Thank you for showing us!
This is a beautiful bedrom. So inviting and serene, but full of interesting details and the creamy wall color is so pretty!
I love combining the beautiful with comfy cozy and practical. Your sister hit the nail on the head with each element. Love it.

Oh the curtains! They just round out the look. I love dot fabric. It provides the room with a dreamy feel.
I wish I had a master suite large enough to have such a big window.

The dresser holding the television and the footstool are my favorite pieces.Lovely!
So pretty Kim. I'm going to my sisters in a few weeks and you've given me the idea to photograph her home. Stay tuned.

Beautiful and inspiring!
I'm just beginning to redo our master bedroom (see on my Blog). Sure hope I can pull it off. Wish you were my helpful neighbor!
:-)
Love the footstools especially. Also the bedding. I am not a fan of tv's in bedrooms but I know many people have them there.
Girl, if I listed everything I love...I would list everything in the room! ADORE the fabric on the chair and the footstool....and the chicken pillow!
Gorgeous!

Kim, please tell your sister that her master is beautiful!!! I really like the dresser and the iron piece above the tv. I might borrow that idea.
I love that leopard stool...no, I want that leopard stool!!!
Really one beautiful bedroom and I do hope your sister starts a blog soon!
This room is so pretty!
Love all the deep jewel toned accents and yet the room is bright and airy and cozy!
Thanks so much for letting us see your sister's home, Kim.

So lovely! I'm surprised you didn't try to steal her rooster pillow off her chair.
I LOVE her bedside dresser! She really has a great sense of style, Kim! xo Diana
What a beautiful room. I love the big dark chest of drawers. It owns that side of the room. So pretty to have the contrast with the lighter colors. Thanks for linking it up to Home Sweet Home!
Sherry

I sure hope she does! The blogging sisters and their elegant touches...

Beautiful master! What a nice place to retreat and relax.
Hi Kim...
Oooh...your sister's master really is beautiful! I'm like...could just curl up in that big ol' fluffy bed or the chair and read a good book! Your sister has a great sense of design style and I have thoroughly enjoyed the tour of her beautiful home! I do believe that interior design talent...runs in the family!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
What a beautiful room! I love the leopard/cheetah print stool and the crown used as a bookend. Thanks for giving us the grand tour!
Just like the rest of her home, this room is absolutely stunning. I love all the details, but especially the roster fabric pillow, and the black painted cabinet her TV sits upon. I realized that something as unsightly as a TV doesn't look as bad when it sits on a pretty piece of furniture. LOL Blessings, Barb
It would be great if your sis started a blog, I always enjoy looking at her beautiful home! Martina
What a lovely and cozy master bedroom! It is so full of charm and it is fun to see how you and she have similar yet distinct styles. It would be so fun if she started a blog too...you know how we love blogging sisters! LOL! Thanks for sharing at Inspiration Friday Kim!
Vanessa
I just wanted to crawl into that bed and stay there. What a gorgeous room.
So pretty! I cannot imagine what would happen to that bed when my 160 lb mastiff/newfoundland mix jumped on that white eyelet. But so beautiful! Makes me just want to jump in and enjoy!
I just love her floral chair and the rooster pillow!
Such a welcoming room....it is just fabulous!! I love everything..especially the little leopard stool..darling. Tell that sister to join us and start blogging.

Beautiful Kim~ your sisters room is so pretty. I love the colors on the bed and that chair is wonderful! How lovely! Thanks for linking up at my party!
Kim...I had a bedroom with that same RL floral on the duvet!!! I loved that fabric. I like how she mixed in so many others to make it interesting...that is definitely what Ralph would have done :)
This is such a beautiful room. You sister used has very cleverly decorated her room. I loved the setup on the dresser.
