Antique Finds Vignette

Last week I took a much needed me day and went to my favorite antique mall. I added a couple of my finds to the vignette in the foyer. I realized I haven't even shared the vignette I came up with after Christmas and of course it has been tweaked since then.

One of my new finds came in handy on this rainy gloomy day. We have had rain for days.

I came across this beautiful etched hurricane. I love the pretty flowered detail on it and the candle glow shining through it.

I also found this pretty leaf dish that came from Paris.

Added some vintage books.

Some more vintage leather books to add height.

Threw in some old style keys.

The lamp moved back in here from the sun room.

I want to congratulate Marty of A Stroll thru Life for her 100th Tabletop Tuesday link party!
I think I have attended every party.

I hope you have sunshine where you are and please send some this way!

Kim I am deeply in love with your lamp...serious coveting going on in this mind of mine and yes loving the Florida sunshine!!! Heard there was an 8 car pile-up near our home and if we would have left for the airport this morning instead of last night we never would have made it ...whew...but that red eye is a toughy

Bright, happy, pulled together, interesting and uncluttered. Everything I ended up not doing on my mantle. Hmmm, re-evaluating.....

Pretty vignette. I feel like we're living in a cave with all the rain and gloomy skies for so long. It's starting to make me feel claustrophic! I wish the sun would shine brightly tomorrow and the rest of the week, but I know that is just a dream.

Sometimes you just need to take a day for yourself. Shopping is a great way to spend it. HEHE.
Love how it all came together. Don't you love when you find something that looks great with all your other items?
Have a fabulous week,

You always come up with the prettiest vignettes, Kim! I need you to come here and put some together for me. I'd lure you with the promise of sunshine, but sadly, it's gray and rainy here too :)

What's the story? Where'd you find it? I LOVE IT!

I love love love your etched glass piece. It's gorgeous and perfect for a candle. We have had lots of rainy gloomy cold days too but I like them. I did lots of cooking and baking, burned the good smelling candles and enjoyed a cozy house. Your guest bath turned out so nice
