This is a little paint project I worked on the same time as the corbels. I like to work on several things at once while the house is a mess. Then I can get it all cleaned up and in order until next time.
This stool had the faux needlepoint fabric on the cushion so you can just use your imagination since I don't have a picture of it. I have had this stool for many many years and I recovered the original cushion a while back, but left the base dark.
Now we are ever so much better looking in our new creamy white color and some distressing.
I believe this toile is by Waverly. I bought this long time ago so I'm not sure.
This was a very simple project. I used Krud Kutter to take the shine off the base and then just painted with Behr paint with primer in the color cotton knit. Then I took some sand paper and knocked off some paint in a few places to distress it. I screwed the cushion back on and voila.
Now it is your turn to Wow us this week. I am tickled that the number of party goers is growing, but it also means I don't have enough hours in the week to comment on each and every one. I wish I did. I am looking at each one though and writing down a few to feature each week so always come back and see if you were featured.
