I painted it the same color as the table by the bed. It is called cotton knit by Behr.
For those who are new around here the cover you see in the left corner is Miss Bailey's crate with the burlap crate cover I made here and here. I'm not a seamstress, but love how it turned out.
Cold and rainy out today so these are the best pictures I could get.
I will share the new look in the bedroom soon.
Now I want you to Wow us!
Party Guidelines:
Please link your intended post URL and not your whole blog.
You must add a link back to the party in your post or my party button from my sidebar.
If you find your link deleted then there wasn't a link back to the party. Just add the link and try again.
The only way others can find the party is if you have the link or button in your post. Just saying joining these parties here does not work either. If you are new here I hope you will become a follower.
Try to visit at least a couple of links. You will probably find some great blogs to follow.
I hope you will check and see if you have word verification turned on for your comments. If you do please turn it off. You will get more comments without that on.
I'm loving the armoire! The white is a really nice shade and it looks really striking with the wall color. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLooking real good Kim! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteYou've done it again...LOVELY!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the armoire! The contrast with the wall looks great.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind that I linked up the Niagara Falls pics. I think it has a Wow factor, but if it doesn't fit the criteria, my feelings will not be hurt if it's you need to delete it. It was a spur of the moment thought.
Hugs, Honey
Looks great Kim! Looking forward to seeing the other changes.
ReplyDeleteI am in the midst of painting a bed for the lake. Going there Friday and hopefully finish the larger guest room in time for next Wed. This is iffy because some of our G'kiddos will be there till Sunday and they definitely take priority.

I love the look of your bedroom! It's kind of funny that the paint color is cotton knit, since the detailing on the front of the armoire reminds me a bit of a cable-knit sweater...
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting the party. :)
Love the color and the "victim"!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty, Kim...so fresh and bright! It has been a dreary day today...good day to stay inside! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

ReplyDeleteKim, pleeeeease come live at my house for about a month! I need your courage and encouragement to get me to paint some furniture! The armoire looks so pretty, but then, everything you paint looks wonderful. Thank you for hosting. laurie

ReplyDeleteKim the armoire looks so pretty. I lvoe that shade of white. I'm joining the party this week even though I don't have much wow. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteKim, you inspire me every day. I looked at an antique dresser today and thought for the first time "I can do this!" I am going back to purchase it and use your tutorial to paint it. I realized things are too "matchy-matchy" in my bedroom and it needs to be lightened up. You really should consider opening a small business for refinished pieces.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Kim...thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Turned out just gorgeous!! Thanks for the great party,

Debra

What's inside those doors of the armoire? On the front? Looks a little different than the rest. I'm on the laptop. Can't see detail as well.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
WOW! I love the armoire. YOur walls and mine are just about the same color. I love this soft brown!!!!
ReplyDeleteKim, is the front of the armoire ratan? It looks textured. My daughter has a ratan front armoire she is thinking about painting. Yours looks lovely.

Now off to see the other WOW'S.

ReplyDeleteWhere do you get all your energy? Can I have some?
I have some serious painting to do around here...not armoires, but walls.
I just decorated for Spring, and took pictures and declared that the front rooms will not be photographed again while they are red.
They are being painted contract-on-the-house khaki :)
So, thank you for the party and the painting inspiration, Kim!
HUGS,
~me
